Misr Daily Fund - CIAM

Misr Daily Fund CI Asset Management is an open-ended money market fund with a cumulative daily return. The fund aims to provide a low-risk savings and investment vehicle focused on preserving liquidity and growing capital through investments in short-term debt instruments and money market securities.

The investment strategy of Misr Daily Fund is based on investing in fixed-income and short-term money market instruments within specific limits and guidelines designed to balance return, liquidity, and risk management. The fund may invest up to 100% of its assets in Egyptian Treasury Bills.

In addition, up to 49% of the fund’s assets may be allocated to Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, and Sukuk, provided that non-government securities maintain a minimum credit rating of BBB-.

The fund may also invest in future receivables portfolios originated by non-bank financial institutions, with such investments not exceeding 15% of total assets. At the same time, the investment manager is required to diversify exposure across non-government debt sectors so that investments in any single sector do not exceed 20% of the fund’s assets.

To further enhance diversification, the fund may invest up to 40% of its assets in similar investment funds. The fund is also permitted to hold up to 75% of its assets in cash, bank deposits, and short-term accounts to meet liquidity needs and redemption requests.
