Zaldi Star Money Market Fund

Zaldi Star Money Market Fund is an open-ended investment fund denominated in Egyptian pounds, designed to provide a savings and investment vehicle that delivers a daily accumulated return with periodic distributions, through investing in low-risk, short-term financial instruments. The fund is considered a suitable tool for liquidity management, combining capital preservation, return generation, and daily liquidity without any subscription or redemption fees.

The fund’s strategy is based on diversifying investments across Egyptian treasury bills and bonds, short-term bank deposits, repurchase agreements (repos), as well as corporate bonds and sukuk, with the objective of maximizing returns while maintaining capital stability.

Investments are also distributed across different maturities to reduce interest rate risk and enhance liquidity management efficiency. According to the prospectus, the fund may allocate up to 100% of its assets to Egyptian treasury bills, up to 80% to bank deposits, current accounts, and short-term savings instruments issued by banks regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt, up to 49% to Egyptian government bonds, up to 49% to repurchase agreements, and up to 40% to corporate bonds and sukuk.
