Al Ahly Dahab Fund

Al Ahly Dahab Fund is an open-ended investment fund with a daily cumulative return, designed to provide investors with direct exposure to gold as an asset class without the need to physically buy or store the metal.

The fund’s investment policy is primarily focused on gold, allocating between 80% (minimum) and 95% (maximum) of its net assets to gold or gold-related instruments. The remaining portion, ranging from 5% to 20%, is invested in short-term debt instruments or cash equivalents to manage liquidity and ensure operational flexibility. This structure allows the fund’s performance to closely track gold price movements, while maintaining sufficient liquidity to meet redemption requests without disrupting stability.

Rather than engaging in short-term speculation, the fund adopts a direct exposure approach by holding gold or instruments that reflect its price. The fund’s unit value is calculated daily based on its Net Asset Value (NAV), enabling investors to enter and exit easily. As a result, the fund delivers performance closely aligned with gold itself, without the complexities of physical ownership, storage, or insurance.

The fund offers several key advantages, including direct exposure to gold without operational risks, making it an effective hedge against inflation and currency fluctuations.
