CI 20HD Fund

CI 20HD Fund follows an investment strategy focused on companies with a strong and consistent track record of dividend distributions, with particular emphasis on businesses that maintain solid financial positions and clear dividend payout policies. The fund is the seventh issuance of CI Asset Management’s Sector & Specialized Funds Investment Fund (Sector – Multi-Issuance Fund).

The fund focuses on building a portfolio of 20 stocks selected from among the highest and most consistent dividend-paying companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange, while maintaining diversification across multiple economic sectors to help reduce risk and achieve a balance between periodic income and capital growth opportunities.

The fund’s investment policy provides flexibility in allocating assets among equities, fixed-income instruments, and liquidity holdings. Up to 95% of the issuance’s assets may be invested in equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange .. with the investment manager having the flexibility to reduce this allocation to 60% when deemed appropriate.

In addition, up to 40% of the assets may be allocated to treasury bills, treasury bonds, and government-guaranteed securities, while up to 40% may be invested in bank deposits, savings instruments, and other low-risk liquid assets. The fund may also invest up to 20% of its assets in money market funds, provided that its holdings do not exceed 5% of the units of any single fund.
