Credit Agricole Egypt Third Money Market Fund is an open-ended investment fund classified as a daily accumulated return money market fund. It aims to manage liquidity and generate a competitive return by investing in short- and medium-term debt instruments. The fund provides daily liquidity to investors by allowing subscriptions and redemptions on every business day, making it suitable for individuals and companies seeking to invest surplus cash while maintaining a relatively low level of risk.
The fund's investment policy is designed to balance liquidity preservation and return enhancement by investing primarily in Treasury Bills, Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, securitization bonds, bank deposits, and other Egyptian Pound-denominated money market instruments, while adhering to investment guidelines aimed at diversifying the portfolio and managing credit and liquidity risks.
The Investment Manager may maintain up to 100% of the fund's assets in cash, current accounts, or deposits with banks regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt if doing so achieves the best possible return while preserving liquidity.
The fund may also invest up to 100% of its assets in Egyptian Treasury Bills, as well as bills or certificates issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. However, investments in Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, and financing Sukuk combined may not exceed 49% of the invested funds. In addition, investments in non-government debt instruments issued by any single sector may not exceed 25% of the fund's size.

Furthermore, the credit rating of non-government bonds or financing Sukuk must not be lower than BBB- or its equivalent at the time of investment, and such investments may not exceed 20% of the invested funds, helping to enhance the quality of the portfolio and limit credit risk.
