The First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt Capital Protection Accumulative Return Fund (Etmnan) is an open-ended investment fund that aims to achieve an accumulative return while seeking to protect capital through an investment policy focused primarily on cash instruments and low-risk investments, with the possibility of investing in Egyptian equities within the prescribed limits, in addition to following a risk management and stop-loss policy.

Etmnan fund aims to protect capital and grow the value of the investment through a diversified portfolio of financial instruments, including bank deposits, Treasury bills, investment certificates, savings certificates, and other instruments permitted under the investment policy. The proportion invested in these instruments may range from 5% to 100% of the fund’s net assets, while adhering to the limits prescribed for each type of asset and maintaining an appropriate level of liquidity to meet redemption requests.

The offering prospectus sets clear limits for the allocation of investments in order to reduce concentration risk and diversify the fund’s portfolio. Investments in equities, subscription rights, and depositary receipts may not exceed 25% of the fund’s net assets. The prospectus also sets limits for investments in government bonds, bond repurchase agreements, money market funds, and financial funds, thereby establishing a clear framework for diversifying the fund’s investments and managing risk.
