The fund may invest up to 100% of its net assets in Egyptian U.S. dollar-denominated Treasury Bills and sovereign bonds. It may also hold up to 20% of its net assets in the form of current accounts, bank deposits, and U.S. dollar savings certificates with banks supervised by the Central Bank of Egypt, with this percentage allowed to increase temporarily to 100% when suitable investment opportunities are not available.
The fund may also invest up to 40% of its net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated corporate bonds or debt instruments issued by licensed companies or entities, provided that the instrument has a minimum credit rating of BBB- or its equivalent at the time of investment. In addition, the fund may invest up to 30% of its assets in units of fixed-income or money market investment funds, as well as up to 25% of its net assets in other U.S. dollar-denominated fixed-income instruments approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority.
