EFG Hermes Equity Fund - Issuance 1

Hermes Equity Fund - First Issue is one of the issuances of the Hermes Portfolio and Fund Management Multi-Issuance Investment Fund. The fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth by primarily investing in equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange, while relying on an active investment strategy designed to capitalize on growth opportunities within the Egyptian stock market, alongside maintaining an appropriate level of diversification and risk management.

Hermes Equity Fund is considered suitable for investors seeking medium- and long-term investment exposure to Egyptian equities, while benefiting from investment flexibility and the ability to subscribe and redeem units on a daily basis according to the net asset value of the certificate.

According to the investment policy, the fund is committed to investing no less than 70% and no more than 95% of the issue’s total assets in equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange, while maintaining a minimum cash liquidity ratio of 5% of the issue’s assets to meet redemption requests.

Investors do not bear any issuance or subscription fees when purchasing certificates, while each certificate bears its proportional share of the fund’s administrative and operating expenses.

The fund may also distribute cash dividends to holders of the first issue certificates, provided that such distributions do not exceed 70% of the distributable net profits for the financial periods ending on December 31 of each year, subject to the investment manager’s assessment and the available investment opportunities.
