Iskan Insurance Daily Accumulative Return Money Market Fund, known as "Kol Youm" (Every Day), is an open-ended money market fund denominated in Egyptian pounds and established by Iskan Insurance Company. The fund targets investors seeking to manage their liquidity while achieving a daily accumulative return with a low level of risk.
The Iskan Money Market Fund invests in money market instruments and short-term debt securities, helping provide a high degree of liquidity while diversifying investments across a range of financial instruments issued by the government, banks, and various institutions, in accordance with the regulations of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA). For this reason, the fund is considered suitable for managing funds that investors may need within a short period.
The fund may invest up to 100% of its net assets in Egyptian Treasury Bills and up to 80% in bank deposits, interest-bearing current accounts, and savings instruments.
The investment manager is also permitted to temporarily invest any excess cash in these instruments until suitable investment opportunities become available, which may result in this percentage being temporarily exceeded as permitted by the applicable regulations.
With regard to debt instruments, the fund's combined investments in Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, Sukuk, and other debt instruments approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority may not exceed 70% of the fund's net assets.
In addition, investments in corporate bonds or Sukuk with a credit rating of at least BBB- (or its equivalent at the time of purchase) may not exceed 40% of the fund's net assets. Investments in money market funds, fixed income funds, and debt funds are limited to a maximum of 20% of the fund's net assets. Repurchase agreements (Repos) may not exceed 40% of the fund's net assets.
Subscriptions, purchases, and redemptions of Iskan Insurance Money Market Fund (Kol Youm) units are available through the following entities: Egyptian Investment Services Company, Arab African International Securities Brokerage, Naeem Brokerage, Misr Capital, Mubasher Securities, HC Securities Brokerage, and Three Way Securities Brokerage. Subscription and redemption requests are accepted on all official business days until 1:00 PM.
