Zaldi El Masry Fund

Zaldi El Masry Fund is an open-ended equity investment fund with both cumulative and distributable return features. The fund aims to grow investors’ capital through a diversified portfolio that combines equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange with fixed-income instruments and money market investments.

The fund seeks to achieve medium- and long-term capital appreciation while also providing the possibility of distributing a portion of distributable profits in accordance with its distribution policy.

The fund follows a flexible investment strategy that allows the investment manager to allocate assets across different asset classes in response to economic developments and market conditions, while maintaining a balance between growth opportunities and risk management. Its investment philosophy focuses on selecting securities with strong growth potential while maintaining appropriate levels of diversification and liquidity.

According to the investment policy, up to 95% of the fund’s assets may be invested in equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange, with a minimum equity allocation of 5% of net assets.

The fund may also invest up to 60% of its assets in government securities and low-risk debt instruments, and up to 60% in bank deposits, current accounts, and savings certificates denominated in Egyptian pounds and held with banks supervised by the Central Bank of Egypt. In addition, up to 40% of the fund’s assets may be invested in corporate bonds and tradable securitization sukuk, subject to the applicable diversification and concentration limits.
