Aljazira International Equities Fund

Aljazira International Equities Fund seeks to achieve a return exceeding the performance of the Dow Jones Islamic World Total Return Index, which is used as the Fund’s benchmark. It is an open-ended public investment fund that complies with Shariah standards, managed by Aljazira Capital, and invests in global equity markets with the objective of achieving long-term capital growth. It is classified as a high-risk fund.

The Fund provides investors with exposure to global equity markets through a diversified portfolio of companies that comply with Shariah guidelines, with the possibility of investing in other investment funds that comply with Shariah standards. The Fund’s strategy includes investing in equities listed in the American, European, Asian, African, and Pacific markets.

Fisher Investment Arabia (Fisher Investment Arabia) acts as the Fund’s sub-fund manager, while Aljazira Capital remains the Fund Manager and is responsible for its management before the unitholders.

The investment policy of the Aljazira International Equities Fund allows between 65% and 100% to be allocated to equities listed in global markets, with the possibility of investing up to 25% in global equity investment funds, provided that no more than 20% of net assets is invested in any single fund, and up to 10% in cash. The Fund may also invest available liquidity in long- or short-term Murabaha transactions in accordance with the Fund’s objectives and Shariah guidelines.

The Fund ensures that its investments comply with the applicable Shariah standards. The Shariah compliance of the companies in which the Fund invests is also reviewed, and a change in the classification of a company may result in its exclusion from the portfolio.
