The Fund Manager may hold up to 100% of the Fund’s assets in cash or money market instruments and funds under exceptional circumstances. The Fund may also obtain Shariah-compliant financing of no more than 10% of its net assets for a period not exceeding one year. The Fund uses the SAB Invest Shariah-Compliant Industrial Companies Equity Total Return Index as a benchmark for measuring performance. The index is provided by Standard & Poor’s. It is calculated based on the total return of free-float shares of Shariah-compliant companies listed on the Saudi market.
