SNB Capital Europe Index Fund

SNB Capital Europe Index Fund is an open-ended index fund that complies with Shariah principles and aims to achieve long-term capital growth by replicating the performance of the MSCI Europe Islamic M-Series Index, which consists of large- and mid-cap European companies that comply with Shariah principles. The fund provides investors with an efficient way to invest in European markets through a diversified portfolio that mirrors the benchmark index, without the need to select individual stocks or manage the portfolio directly.

Unlike actively managed funds, the fund follows a passive investment strategy that seeks to track the benchmark index as closely as possible. This is achieved by investing in the constituent stocks of the index using the same weightings or, where appropriate, by using a representative sampling approach. The fund manager also rebalances the portfolio whenever changes occur in the index constituents to maintain the highest possible level of alignment with the index's performance.

SNB Capital Europe Index Fund focuses on investing in large- and mid-cap European companies listed on European stock markets, allocating between 90% and 100% of its net assets to equities. The remaining portion may be held in cash, Shariah-compliant Murabaha instruments, or Islamic money market funds for liquidity management purposes. In addition, the fund may invest a portion of its assets in other index-tracking funds to support the efficient implementation of its investment strategy.

SNB Capital Europe Index Fund is classified as a high-risk fund, as its performance is affected by fluctuations in European equity markets, currency and liquidity risks, as well as economic and geopolitical conditions. The fund is also exposed to index tracking risk, in addition to operational and regulatory risks.
