The Fund invests primarily in accordance with the S&P GCC Shariah Financial Sector Index, within the following limits as a percentage of net asset value: shares of GCC financial sector companies listed on GCC financial markets between 60% and 100%, shares of financial sector companies listed on the parallel market (Nomu) up to 10%, initial public offerings and rights issues up to 10%, investment in shares of other companies listed on the Saudi stock markets, including initial public offerings and rights issues, up to 30%, financial derivatives contracts up to 15%, other investment funds up to 40%, and cash or Money Market instruments up to 40%. The Fund may obtain Shariah-compliant financing of up to 15% of its net asset value and use financial derivatives for hedging purposes after obtaining the approval of the Shariah Committee and up to 15%, with a maximum investment in funds of 40% and a maximum limit for dealings with parties belonging to the same group of 25%.
